Weddings and Parties

With the weather changing for the better, weddings and parties are becoming more popular than ever. I've been booked for several weddings and parties, and so far the guests have love every moment of it.

If you are planning a wedding or a party, make sure to get in touch with me if you would like to make the event that little bit more special with a touch of magic.

I performed recently at a wedding reception in Surrey and they absolutely loved it, and was impressed that I was giving them more surprises throughout the evening. Make sure you book me in advanced as I have a very busy schedule, and I would not like to turn down the chance to perform magic at your special event.

Entertaining at Tomorrow's Office

I performed some table magic at the Britannia Stadium, the home of Stoke City football club. There was a local business event taking place called Tomorrow's Office, that was run by Overclockers UK. 

This event was a technology event, Overclockers UK invited all of the local businesses from the surrounding areas of Stoke-on-Trent, to educate them on how technology can improve work efficiency and save costs improving their business.

The event was a success, businesses across the whole of Staffordshire were entertained with magic. I walked around the tables during lunch and entertained the crowds, the response was fantastic with great reactions from the audiences.

Overclockers UK handed out a short survey about the event for the guests to give their honest opinions on the event and how it went, many guests mentioned how they thoroughly enjoyed the entertaining magic and they would love to come to the event again.

I have some more bookings in the pipeline this year. I am collecting photos and videos from these events, and will be posting on my Blog frequently. Keep watching this space!

Are you the next Paul Daniels?

Due to the recent news yesterday, I wanted to write a blog post about Paul Daniels. The magician has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, an incurable brain tumour, this was announced by his family yesterday afternoon.

Paul Daniels has always been an idol of mine, not just as a magician with the great effects that he performed, but also as an entertainer. I've had the pleasure of meeting Paul Daniels, and he is the most heart warming, inspirational, and incredible man. He has entertained millions of people throughout a vast range of generations. No one can disagree that Paul Daniels was a incredible and humorous entertainer.

This Chop Cup routine from Paul Daniels is brilliantly entertaining and no doubt one, if not the very best Chop Cup routine, it is definitely the best performed routine that I've ever seen. This is the first magic effect that comes to my mind when I think of this man.

When performing magic myself, the most common question is "Are you the next Paul Daniels?". 

Many magicians around the world today share their thoughts, and sends love to Paul and his family. He changed the world of magic, by bringing it onto TV, and influencing many other great magicians today.

When meeting Paul Daniels, it was at a magic convention in Milton Keynes, and to this day I do not remember any magic tricks that he taught me. But, there is one thing he taught me, and that was believing in the magic you are performing. This advice is one of the best magic tricks you could ever learn.

So, the answer to the question, "Are you the next Paul Daniels?", simply the answer is no. Paul Daniels has done far too much, he has revolutionised the whole community of magic, he is irreplaceable.

The Sidemen Private Party

I was invited to a private party, it was the two year celebration party for the Sidemen (SDMN). The Sidemen are a collection of YouTubers, and their full-time job is to create content on YouTube; from videos that are entertaining and related to gaming, to completely random videos.

The Sidemen  includes KSIOlajidebt (KSI), Behzinga, Wroetoshaw, Zerkaa, Miniminter, Tbjzl, and Vikkstar123. Not only was I invited to party, but I was also hired to perform magic for them and the guests at their private event.

The party was held at the Arsenal's football ground in the Emirates Stadium. I performed walkabout magic,  leaving a lot of people there amazed! - I even had people screaming at me, not because I hurt them, they were screaming in more of a rockstar kind of way!

With #SIDEMEN2YEARS trending on Twitter and over all social media platforms, the party really went off in a bang! It was clear that everyone at the party enjoyed it, and especially the magic!

I performed magic in Germany

I visited Germany and attended Gamescom, of course I ended up performing some magic! A spectator kindly shared me this video, I wanted to share it with you for you all to see.
